We're on a mission!
Wordynumnum was born after comedian Bob Mortimer started 'selling' his cat names via his Twitter account for an imaginary £8. They became so popular with his followers that the consensus was if we collaborate we could do some good for a real cat charity. It was then our first print, 'Sergeant Walnuts' was born and a big chunk of the profits went to Cats Protection.
We’ve shared our lives with animals as long as we can remember, so creating our signature style cat and dog prints felt natural and special at the same time. Above all, we wanted to create something that benefitted animals, to do something positive and give back to those cats and dogs out there that don’t have the love or the comfort they should have. The ones whose stories break your heart and make you wonder if compassion and acts of kindness are no more. So it renews your hope in humanity when you meet people like the dedicated team from StreetVet, or the countless volunteers at Cats Protection who selflessly give their time, skills and endless love to the animals they help.
We are so honoured to be able to donate to these dedicated teams of people and hope with every print sold, a little difference is made.
A word from Bob,
Cats Protection Ambassador
"I love having Wordynumnum as my design and print partner because they are the cat's pyjamas crossed with the dog's bollocks. Wordynumnum has been brilliant in helping me raise money for sad cats and the wonderful StreetVets...next up miserable pigs."
